NCA and NCS will be collecting shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. There will be brochures available this Sunday that gives all the details for what you can put in the boxes. 

October 26th is Pastor Appreciation Sunday! There will be card available for you to fill out with words of encouragement and thanks for the next 2 Sundays. Make sure you stop by the table and let our Pastors know how much we appreciate and love them! 

We are asking for candy donations for the NC Kids Fall Festival that will be held on Wednesday, October 29th. You can drop off individually wrapped candy donations in the bin by the Reception desk at the Flagpole entrance or by the bin near the Info desk by the main sanctuary. 

This Sunday, October 19th, Missionaries Randy and Mary Jane Merren will be sharing with us during our morning service. They are US Missionaries working with refugees in Detroit. After service we will have our Mission's Market which is a bake sale and silent auction of crafts and some paintings that were done by NCA members. All proceeds will go to buy winter clothing for refugees in our area

God moves in life-changing ways, calling us back from spiritual dead ends and lukewarm religion, when we set aside our own agendas take him at his word and listen for his voice. The Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study is going to be "Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire" by Jim Cymbala with the Bible Study by Christi Robillard. Books will be available at the Info Desk next Sunday.

On Thursday, October 30th, from 4-6 pm and/or from 6-8 pm, we have an opportunity to serve at Open Door Ministries at 4310 S. Lilley Rd, Canton, MI 48188. Open Door is located BEHIND the Nissan dealer on Michigan Ave off of Lilly Rd. Open Door asks that we park outside of the fenced-in area along the road to save room for the guests. Please sign up at the Info Desk for one of the two time slots, unless you want to help for the entire 4 hours. The entire family is encouraged to help. If you have lost a loved one recently, there will be a one-day session, for "Surviving the Holidays," on Saturday, November 1st, 1 pm - 3pm in the Cafe. This is a great way to prepare ahead for the the changes in your life. There is an $8 charge for the book. Please sign up at the Info Desk.
